Eligibility

Must be a graduating senior enrolling as a freshman at a post-secondary institution in Fall 2023

Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
Requirements & Supporting Documentation

Complete the online scholarship application in its entirety by the March 31, 2023 deadline

Upload a copy of high school transcript

Upload a letter of recommendation from a teacher or school official

Upload a copy of your college acceptance correspondence

Upload documentation of completed community service hours

Upload a senior picture or appropriate head shot

Upload a 250 - 500 word essay: "What are the challenges facing local high school students interested in college or other post-secondary options including trade and military?"
*Awarded funds will be disbursed after recipients provide proof of enrollment.

The Next Step Education team, in partnership with the Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation, will offer several scholarship opportunities for deserving students this year. Our application will close on March 31, 2023.
