Spring 2022 Scholarship
Overview Information
The Next Step Education team, in partnership with the Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation, will offer several scholarship opportunities for deserving students this year. Our application will open on Feb 1, 2022 and close on March 31, 2022. Extra consideration points will be given to seniors who participate in and complete our our Spring 2022 program activities.
Eligibility

Must be a graduating senior enrolling as a freshman at a post-secondary institution in Fall 2022

Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
Requirements & Supporting Documentation

Complete the online scholarship application in its entirety by the March 31, 2022 deadline

Upload a copy of high school transcript

Upload a letter of recommendation from a teacher or school official

Upload a copy of your college acceptance correspondence

Upload documentation of completed community service hours

Upload a senior picture or appropriate head shot

Upload a 250 - 500 word essay: "What are the challenges facing local high school students interested in college or other post-secondary options including trade and military?"
*Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have waived the test score requirement.
*Awarded funds will be disbursed after recipients provide proof of enrollment.
